About Moton Motorcycles

The background:

After many years of working for main dealers, Pete Stiebritz set out in 1984 in Unit 1, De La Warr Mews, Bexhill-on-Sea as Moton Motorcycles, repairing and servicing motor bikes, in the early days working round the clock  to build a successful business.

The work included repairing, servicing and tuning motor bikes ranging from singles, to twins, the classics and the small 50cc right and up to the big super bikes, organising and assisting with race and trackday preparation and enjoying every minute as the years have flown by!

Moton Motorcycles has grown progressively over the years, slowly moving from one unit to another within De La Warr Mews. Steadily growing in both reputation and client base.

Pete and Moton have finally outgrew De La Warr Mews and moved into their new premises at Chichester Road on the Ponswood Industrial Estate in St Leonards, East Sussex which coincided with a new look, new premises, new stock, new workshop and of course a web site.

Roger, Pete’s son joined the Team in 2006 and manages the web site and runs the Showroom, Clothing and Accessories shop, he is now an ever present part of the Moton Motorcycles Team.

Pete and Roger can always be found the in workshop where their passion for the bikes remains.

Pete and the team at Moton Motor Cycles have and continue to provide a friendly down to earth, high quality, cost effective service to all bike riders with a combined experience of over 64 years.  They are willing to assist in any way they can, providing you with the support you will need to get your motor bike, scooter, moped or superbike back on the road or race track. They pride themselves on friendly service and can provide the cup of tea/coffee if you need it (while you wait, of course!) whether you have an old scooter, vintage moped, a classic bike or more powerful super-bike this is the place for you.
